If you are looking for formal dresses or prom dresses, Victoria's Dress has loads of really cute styles which are perfect as evening dresses. I particularly love the maxi styles they have available, in their celebrity dresses section there are loads of gorgeous dresses to choose one, and many styles taken from the red carpet to give your inspiration for your outfit for whatever event you're going to!
I particularly like that you can mimic a red carpet style for prom, or a formal event. They also have a selection of cocktail dresses which would be perfect for attending less formal events which don’t require a full length dress. However the ones I’ve picked above I think would be perfect for dressy summer events, summery colours like nudes, corals and blush pinks are perfect; and chiffon fabrics will keep you cool if it’s a hot evening. I chose less busy dresses in terms of embroidery and beading so a lot of these dresses would be super easy to dress up or down, for example the mint green dress I’d keep very minimal with hair in an up do and silver jewellery. The off shoulder blush pink dress I think would look gorgeous with a very simple gold necklace and stud earrings, as the dress itself is the main event.
The Olivia Wilde style dress is one of my favourites, the beaded detailing on the sleeves is so cute, and the fact it as a sweetheart neckline means that it would be super flattering to both large busted and small busted ladies. And again it is another dress that due to the small amount of detailing you could dress up with some statement earrings or leave it without, as the dress in itself is quite a statement.
I think my favourite probably though is the coral coloured dress, I love the material and the fact it’s one shouldered means you don’t necessarily have to opt for a strapless bra. The colour of it is perfect for summer, and I love the fact it already has a belt, this dress essentially does the accessorizing for you! Also if you are looking for them Victoria’s Dress also do bridesmaid dresses if you are looking so don’t hesitate to check there, as many of the dresses may be suitable for formal events even if you are not a bridesmaid.
Which is your favourite dress? Have you attended any formal events this summer? xx
