Sent c/o of Phillip Kingsley

I was very kindly sent Phillip Kingsley's cult product the Elasticizer in conjunction with their Christmas Treasure Hunt competition which runs on their instagram (@philip_kingsley), to find a secret link on their site to be entered into a fantastic prize draw to win a luxury hair and skincare kit with goodies from Philip Kingsley and Sarah Chapman.

Ki-yoshi eyelash enhancer serum | Review

Eyelash enhancer serum // c/o Kiy-oshi

I was recently sent this eyelash serum by Kiyoshi and thought it was worth a try! I really wanted to give this a go properly as to see whether this would give effective results or not so I've been using this for the last month and half, 90% of the time applying every evening before I go to bed. The tube is quite simply matte silver, and the wand itself looks just like an eyeliner pen - and you apply the product similarly like eyeliner along the top lash line.

FOTD #37 Soft night out glam using MAC Coppering and matte brown

Brows // Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow pomade in blonde Eyes // MAC Coppering, HD Brows palette, MUA palette in Poptastic, Maybelline black shock gel liner and Sailor Moon eyeliner Contour and highlight // HD Brows palette, Sleek Face Contour Kit in Light

Recently I've been feeling a bit poo as I adjust to life as an ~unemployed graduate~ (wait, where did 4 years of Uni go?), but the one thing that's been cheering me up is doing a full face beat like this - from gollum to glam. MAC's shadow Coppering is really lovely for giving a bit of an edge to natural glam, there's a tiny bit of sparkle and due to the orange tones it really makes green eyes pop. I took inspo for this from a Nikkie Tutorials look (if you don't follow her on YouTube I totally recommend). xx

Vita Coco Coconut Oil - cooking, make up removal, moisturising and more! | Beauty

Coconut oil c/o Vita Coco

For a while now I've been buying into the coconut oil hype, and I've never looked back! So when Vita Coco kindly offered to send me some of their coconut oil I jumped at the chance. I keep the larger jar by my bed for moisturising (hence why the jar looks a little used), and the little one will be perfect for travelling.

My favourite things to use coconut oil for:
- Cooking! Coconut oil is healthier to cook with and gives food no added taste.
- Moisturising. Coconut oil is thought to help anti ageing and makes your skin amazingly soft. I also use it as a facial moisturiser despite having oily skin, and have found it works well and doesn't break me out or make me more oily!

Things to try:
- As a shaving cream. Coconut oil does work well as a shaving cream (balm?) as it moisturises your skin at the same time, but be warned it does block up razors!
- As make up remover. Coconut oil does also work well for this (including eye make up), however I occasionally get sore eyes from blocked sebum ducts in my eyelashes (gross, I know) and I think using coconut oil has encouraged this to happen. But worth a try if you aren't prone to this!

What do you use coconut oil for? xx
