:S

This is just to explain lack of posting! I'm moving house AGAIN tommorow because it turns out that its going to take up to 6 months to repair our house so we're moving to be closer to supervise the redecorating/rebuilding. This is the third time I've moved house in 6 weeks! Arghh soo yes a little bit stressed right now, but I'll still be blogging from my new room, which has a great view of a duck pond. I'm easily pleased :)
P.S Will reply to everyones comments tommorow!

My lashes are dry, purple teadrops I cry

Leather Jacket ♥ Asos ♥ Top ♥ Topshop ♥ Skirt ♥ Primark ♥ Black patent pumps ♥ New Look

Joy of joys I've just downloaded Picasa so now I can edit my photos! Get rid of the red demon eyes my camera gives me, removes all my spots etc :P
This is my new Asos leather jacket which I bought a while ago but I've only worn once due to the fact its still too cold for jackets outside, I have to wear my cosy Gap coat instead. I love the tribal print of the skirt, its actually too big for me so I have to safety pin it at the back to make the waist smaller, I would use the sewing machine to do it properly but I'm too useless at sewing (and too lazy!) to do it.

This was my delicieusement lunch today, crappy Tesco sushi (which says NO RAW FISH on the front, ironic seeing as isn't that exactly what sushi is?!) and two Creme eggs. Lets hope there are some hidden nutrients in the Oasis??

P.S Keep entering the giveaway !

Lost in a fairytale, can you hold my hand and be my guide?

Sorry its been five days! Thank you to everyone who has been following my blog, my followers have increased quite a bit over the past few days so thank you every one of you!

I haven't been doing anything much these past few days but I did go to London and see Giselle by the English National Ballet with my friend 'Seeds' (thankyou!) on Saturday, which was amazing, if a bit depressing as she goes insane and dies - cheery stuff! But the dancing was amazing and makes me regret I gave up ballet lessons when I was 6.

(pictures not mine)

Sorry I know I owe you guys an outfit post but my outfits really haven't been that exciting recently! I did however get my Lady GaGa heartbeats in the post...but when unwrapped them they were white!! Arghhh..Soo I'm getting the colour exchanged to the one I wanted and thought I was buying (red). When they arrive again I will do a review on them, but they looked pretty good from what I saw in the box.

Thank you to Imgoen from Tia_Cherie (check out her fantastic blog!) who gave me the Happy 101 award! The tag states you have to list 10 things that make you happy, and pass it on to ten other bloggers.

1) Getting a 50p discount on the bus this morning haha

2) Creme Eggs..I swear I'm addicted

3) Doing Psychology at school, its gets more and more interesting!

4) Sorting out ongoing problems

5) Rain, but only when I'm inside and its outside!

6) Watching Fawlty Towers

7) Listening to the White Stripes

8) Buying earrings

9) Creative writing

10) Sleepy puppies, they're going to their new owners this Saturday and I'll miss them tons!

The one on the far right is called Hairy because it has a cute hairy face haha, it's the only one with a name!

I tag & award everyone who hasn't done this tag yet or wants to!

Btw I'm keeping the phone charm giveaway open till the 28th of February so don't forget to enter by leaving a comment on the post here!

A few of my favourite things

Thanks very much to Becca @ Becca J. says for giving me this award! The tag says you must list seven of your favourite things so here goes:
1) Sushi
I'm ashamed to say I've only tried cheap supermarket stuff and have never been to a Sushi bar but I would love to!
2) Lady GaGa
Without sounding conceited I don't usually listen to stuff thats extremely musically mainstream and in the charts but I love how genuinely talented Lady GaGa is: the fact she can sing, play the piano, wites all her lyrics and takes an active part in her costume and video designs. Its really refreshing compared to other artists.

3) Japan
Well duh! I find Japanese culture really interesting to the point even if it was quantum physics but in Japanese I might be intrigued..but only a little.

4) Monty Python
Bloody hilarious, I think I've seen Monty Python and the Holy Grail maybe over 8 times now, and I like quoting large chunks of it, which annoys my friends haha
5) Old horror movies
Movies like the Shining, Carrie, the original house of wax (not the one with Paris Hilton!!) and Hammer horror.

6) Computer Games
I'm not very secretly a bit of a gamer, I like the Sims, Runescape, World of Warcraft etc but I'm terrible at games like Call of Duty so my younger brothers refuse to play with me because I'm so easy to kill!

7) Diaries
I've got over 20 notebooks secreted *somewhere* that I've written since I was about 10, it's funny looking back on your younger self.

I tag:
Imogen @ Tia_Cherie
Check out all of their awesome blogs!

♥ Strapya World haul + Giveaway! ♥

My Strapya World order arrived! I ordered the Fukubukuro, which is a sort of lucky bag Japanese shops do at New Year with a suprise selection of their products inside. Its something like $130 worth of their mobile phone charms and accessories and I got a sale price of about $30 which I think is about £18..not bad as the items are so cute!

My phone with 'The Ichigo' (ichigo is strawberry in Japanese) charm

Panda-kun Charm

Three of the items 'talk', one I'd seen before is like the top of a can, and when you lift the lever it makes the sound of a drink being poured, another is a little kitten paw which makes cute miaow noises when you press its pad; and the last one is a blue banana, which when peeled says things in Japanese.

If anyone can translate what the Banana is saying please share because my Japanese is limited to useful words such as haitaka (sparrowhawk), ume (pickled plum) and being able to introduce myself!

Every bag also comes with a Cubic Zirconia necklace which is very pretty.

Now onto the giveaway! This is just a small one but I hope to do bigger ones in the future. Both items are mobile phone charms from Japan, so make sure you have a phone with a place to attach them if you enter!

1) Strapya World white phone strap with gold heart.

2) Disney Lady and the Tramp Kewpie charm

3) I will also inclue a little mystery suprise along with them :)

RULES:
1) You must be a follower of the blog (with Google Friend connect, see sidebar)
2) This competition is only open to UK residents, sorry :(
3) Just leave a comment below with your name and email to enter!

I'm obsessively opposed to the typical

Just an end of week update! I've just spent the last 15 minutes re-doing my blog list as I single handedly managed to delete all the blogs on it which REALLY annoyed me but I think they're all back on it! I haven't been doing much this week, I had my AS exams in French and Psychology on Wednesday and half way through the day it started snowing lightly again so every single bus company cancelled all buses...fun times! Then my school panicked about ice on the roads on Thursday so I had a snow day (more like a grey slush day though), and by Friday the snow miraculously melted over night; but apparently now there's going to be another snow 'dump' on Wednesday so its all crazy here!
I've decided to change the blog slightly to accomodate bigger photos, and I should be able to do the Strapya giveaway when my package arrives (I'm still waiting); and also I ordered some of Lady GaGa's heartbeats in red/pink which I am soo excited about as I'm a big fan and apparently they're incredible!

I'm also getting back into listening to J-rock and J-pop and I found this awesome band called 9mm parameter bullet when browsing Itunes J-music section, the lead singers hair is amazing!
Lastly, I spent the weekend at my friend's house and we came across this clip from Mock the Week where Hugh Dennis voices over a piece of news footage and this one of Boris Johnson and David Cameron made me laugh so much!

'What ho, peasants!'

Don't be dirty ice cream, baby

My Asos order finally arrived! I got this skinny studded belt and a leather jacket but I'm too sure I'm keeping it yet. Btw does anyone have any good suggestions for a camera? I have Canon A530 but its driving me crazy as the self timer is terrible and I always fall over in the middle of a shot so it blurs or I cut my head out of the shot!

Jeans ♥ Gap ♥ Vest top ♥ Topshop ♥ Cardi ♥ Topshop ♥ Boots ♥ New Look ♥ Belt ♥ Asos
Patent satchel ♥ Primark

Don't call my name, Alejandro

Jumper ♥ Zara ♥ Skirt ♥ Zara ♥ Boots ♥ New Look

This is the first outfit I bought after the fire as I had literally what I was standing in, as all my clothes have been carted off to have the smoke smell taken out of them, I love Zara! I included a close up of the skirt print as it has little skulls mingled in between the flowers.

Snow&Christmas Pressies

A notebook which looks like a UK passport, I got some weird looks when I used it to write my shopping list.

Feathered earrings from Accessorize from my little brother.

The Fame Monster from my other brother

Nina by Nina Ricci...I love the bottle design!

Pink metallic piggy bank!

The last three volumes of one of my favourite mangas and Russell Brand's autobiography.

Patent Union Jack shoulder bag
I'm finally going back to school tommorow, I should have gone back on thursday but we have 9 inches of snow! Its crazy here, snow has literally been dumped from the skies its so thick, and its weird for England because we don't usually get snow until February, I've never seen so much in my life! Probably the effects of global warming/freezing haha well its still fun and very beautiful, even though the country seems to go into mass panic whenever it snows. I meant to take some outfit pics outside but my brothers seem to think its hilarious to rub snow in my face sooo maybe not! So instead I decided to do a very late post of some things I got for Christmas. I have so many things meant to be arriving for me in the post right now the delays due to snow are driving me crazy! As soon as my Strapya World order arrives then I promise there will be a giveaway!

2009 Outfit Recap

So following what a lot of other bloggers have been doing I've decided to do a recap of outfits I wore last year, since I started the blog in July; some of these pictures I didn't put up at the time because I wasn't doing as many outfit posts then..

July (prom outfit)

Loved the cobalt blue and the studded heels..

Dress ♥ Asos ♥ Heels ♥ Miss Selfridge ♥ Gold leaf necklace ♥ Topshop

August (when it was still sunny)

Nautical tunic ♥ Topshop ♥ Studded gladiator sandals ♥ Ebay

September

Dress ♥ Topshop Unique ♥ Red skinny belt ♥ Primark ♥ Black Heels ♥ New Look

October

I love this photo because Alfie ran into the shot and started doing that annoying slinking-through-legs thing cats do!
Ditsy Tea Dress ♥ Joe Brown's

November

Floral Top ♥ Primark ♥ Cardi ♥ Vintage Fair ♥ Necklace ♥ Ebay ♥ Jeans&Boots ♥ New Look

December

Nautical tunic ♥ Topshop ♥ Coat ♥ Gap ♥ Black flats ♥ New Look ♥ Beanie ♥ Accessorize

Feeling happy today as I now have my jewellery back from the de-smokeifying place, and also there's four inches of snow outside and its still snowing heavily; so I'm writing this in the past as I'll probably be outside in it tommorow!

2009 wasn't a great year for me but I'm hoping this year will be better, and I'm going to try and improve the blog for you guys; I have a Japanese phone charm accessory giveaway coming up, and more oufits to show as I've been on a major shopping spree :S
