Long time no post! Been inspired to get back into the blogging game thanks to my work pal Hannah aka Too Much Is Not Enough, and the fact I now work in digital PR reading blogs and talking to bloggers everyday (which is super weird coming at blogging from the other side of things!). Recently I went to my first festival, Blue Dot in South Manchester, which is definitely reflected in some of these favourites, i.e glitter and frizz control all day errdayy 🙌
Frizz Ease Nourishing Oil Elixir - I lurrrve this stuff. This can be used on wet and dry hair, so I put this on pre-blow dry and after styling to tame flyaways or add some moisture to my super bleached hair. This is my second bottle and I highly recommend.
Palmer's Dark Chocolate and Cherry lip balm - I am an absolute lip balm fiend and would 100% have lip balm as my desert island beauty product, so I'm always buying new ones. This one smells gorge, moisturises your lips but also looks super pretty on as it gives you a semi-glossy cherry tint. I wear this on nights out instead of lipstick, it looks that nice!
MAC Fix+ - I picked up this cute lil mini Fix+ when I was leaving Japan and wanted to get rid of the last of my Yen, and rediscovered it recently. Interesting fact: Fix+ is not actually a setting spray (okay , well interesting to me), it's a makeup 'finishing spray' designed to refresh your face and add a soft sheen. If you've really caked your make up on this takes away a powdery finish and makes your skin look like actual skin again. Also perfect to refresh your cake face for after work drinks etc.
NYX face and body glitter in GL06 Crystal - My besties got me this for my birthday and I LOVE it. This is the silver holographic glitter of dreams, and you can use it all over. Either mix with hair gel and swipe on cheeks/collar bone/chest or for eyes wet a brush (with water or Fix+) or pat over an eye primer. Post festival season I've been using it on my nails, just sprinkle over a neutral nail polish while wet, leave to dry and seal with a clear top coat ✨
Etude House Goodbye Pore Ever - I picked this primer/pore minimiser up in Korea and dug it out of my make up trunk recently, I can't find it in the UK at the moment but there are other Etude House products available on Amazon UK. This blurs pores and stops my oily skin getting shiny so quickly, plus doesn't feel heavy or break me out which I've found with other pore products.
Rimmel Stay Matte powder - This is always a fav, I do love MAC blot powder but at £21 it's v pricey for an everyday product. This Rimmel one is about £4 and does the job for setting my everyday face perfectly, I apply with a beauty blender to really pack it onto problem areas like creasing under the eyes.
